• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I was in Rochester, MN for business on Wednesday afternoon and Thrusday and I stopped by a Q joint called Roscoe's Ribs and Root Beer. Nice place. I went to their newest location on the northwest side and had a combo of ribs and pulled pork. The ribs had a nice smokey flavor and were nice and tender, and the pulled pork was very moist and had a nice flavor. I even had a few pieces of bark that were very good. The combo came with a decent, but not great, cole slaw, some baked beans (pretty good with chunks of ham in them) and a small serving of greens (I'm not an expert on greens, but I enjoyed them) and a larege serving of "Jalatatoes" which are thin sliced taters, fried and seasoned. they were very good, but not very spicy (as the name would imply).

The restaurant is small, but clean. You order at the counter and then grab a seat and they bring the food out to you. I tried the root beer and it was also very good. My only complaint was that they put too much sauce on the ribs and pork. If I'm in the area and have a chance to go back, I'll request no sauce since they had a selection of about a dozen different sauces available at the counter.

So, if you are in Rochester, try Roscoe's...
