I ran to my local HD this weekend to pick up a bag of mesquite for an upcoming packer brisket cook and found RO was on sale OR they simply lowered their "New Lower Price". The normal price in my area has been around $15/bag. Following are the exact details:

15.44 lb. 100% All Natural Hardwood Lump Charcoal, $9.97

Needless to say, bought several bags.

That's normal price around here. HD has been selling it for that price since last Sept. Even WalMart is selling for that price.

"Hard wood" is code for " if we told you what's actually in it you wouldn't buy it"
Best to stick with oak or mesquite IMHO

Bought 4 “torn” bags for 5 bucks each
Little packing tape and they are just like new!
