• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Brothers.....just uploaded some pics to the photo section of the brisket cook this weekend. Things went well except for the windy night. Temps were a *&$%? to maintain. It was also the night of the lunar eclipse which was pretty cool.
 
Good show Anheuser (liked the fridge photo). Also - good call on boiling the DP marande and using it as a mop. Never thought of doing that before.
 
Ever since doing the first one, I've used the marinade as a mop. The first time I tried a vinegar/water/lemon juice/worsey sauce mixture that was good but too thin. This stuff thickens a little as it cooks and sticks to the brisket a whole lot better. I have about 1/3 of what you see in the pan left. Gotta mix up that mayo/horsey/adobo sauce of Phil's for some nice samwiches.....I bet a little brisket with slaw and dreamland would work too. Decisions....decisions.... :roll:
