• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I have some frozen cooked rib tips that I want to use for dinner for the family and I need some suggestions on how to prepare them. All recipes are gratefully accepted.

Marinate for 6-8 hours in a half and half mixture of 7up and Berry flavored wine cooler. Dust with rub (nothing too spicy) and then smoke @ 225 or so for 2-3 hours. This is how we do "riblets" at our house. Simple, but good.

i just rub and smoke for about 5 hrs. then i toss with sauce and smoke for another 1/2 hour. i like em falling off the bone/cartellidge

Thanks for the replies, but I think I am not clear on what I have. These rib tips are SMOKED & FROZEN. They don't need to be re-smoked, do they??? Thanks again.

riblets

If they're already pre-cooked smoked put them in a pot of baked beans really good

ok, defrost and warm up in oven at 250? i would put em on the smoker though, cause i doubt they are smokey enough

Cut them up and make some Keri C Aplle beans. Had some for breakfast today!

I made Keri's beans on Sunday and they were a hit with everyone. I want to use the tips as finger food not within another recipe.

i brought my left over tips with me to work tonight. will reheat in microwave and toss with some sauce. also brought a tupperware bowl full of Keri C's Beans. Those are damn fine eating..
