not sure if I will die so figured I would ask. I have a chicken tender recipe that uses egg wash then coatwith crumbs. Can I make scrambled eggs with the leftover egg or is this a cross contamination issue?
i think hes concerned about the cooties from the raw chicken.I remember having a raw egg in my orange Julius. Never had a problem.
What changed?
Did you run a raw chicken breast through your raw egg?I remember having a raw egg in my orange Julius. Never had a problem.

Christian, I haven't priced eggs in the store lately as I am lucky enough to get them for free from my buddy's farm. At fifty cents per egg, I would probably scramble them too. But I would cook them longer than I usually do.Thanks I figured I would be ok but if in doubt ask is my motto. As for the price of eggs here I' am paying $6 a dozen. Groceries are kicking my butt lately so yes I am tight fisted where I can be.
If you fully cook it, should be fine IMHO.not sure if I will die so figured I would ask. I have a chicken tender recipe that uses egg wash then coatwith crumbs. Can I make scrambled eggs with the leftover egg or is this a cross contamination issue?
Yeah definitely wouldn't want to eat soft scrambled or over easy.If you fully cook it, should be fine IMHO.
I often take marinades I have for chicken or other meats....and if I want to use it as a sauce or part of a sauce after marination....I make sure and heat it on the stove to a boil, etc...to sanitize it.
Egg should do the same....but I'd make sure they were fully cooked when scrambled.
