Refrigerator

I'm thinking about putting a refrigerator in my new trailer to use instead of coolers. Any thoughts? I'll be using the trailer for vending and catering too.

Best thing you can do.We have a ice maker and we hauled coolers around for a long time.When we built our new trailer we put a single door commercial Frig in it and we would not have it any other way.It will make your cook so much easier,we have traveled 12 hours to a contest with no problem,they hold temp very well as long as you don't open it up.If you are vending alot you may have to go with a 2 door but remember it will be added weight.We ran bolts from the bottom frame through the floor and put a L bracket at the top.No problems.

Do you get it down to temp at home then load it up before you go and plug it back in when you get there?

I local competitor here scored a double door bar fridge with a stainless steel top (lucky dog!)

He tosses a box w/ a few big chunks of dry ice inside to keep it cool until he reaches the event site where power is available.

I've seen it first hand and it works great.

If its a 350.00 cooler or a 350.00 fridge the choice is the fridge. Hands down.
Get an inverter and 2 battery backup. Bring your own generator just in case power goes out.
