Ralphs Brisket .99/lb.

Noticed in todays paper Ralphs has Brisket .99/lb whole 72 hour sale. Crap would have to notice it at 2:20 a.m., oh wait 24 hour store around corner. Gonna check at lunch.

Let me know how they look...dont care for Ralphs much usually but I could be persuaded.

Cooked a 14lb packer Friday for Sat and it got done a little bit earlier then I expected...still left it on for 13 hrs. Went to party and they decided to eat late so it was coolered for 5 hrs. Still hot and cut it with a fork but a little done for me. Used Big Brother Smokes rub he gave me at the Bash

I had my hands on one yesterday at Ralph's but passed it up since I already have two in my freezer. They looked alright but they sure had a lot of fat to trim off. I guess at .99/lb though you cant go wrong.

Yeah agree on Ralphs meat. Went to couple stores on way home (62 mile trip). Since had to chek on Dads house put a few in his freezer. Got a couple here also. Figure time to make pastrami again. Remember 72 hour sale, started Sunday.

Farking brisket here is only under $3.00/lb around St. Patricks Day only they call it corned beef. On the bright side, all the wood I want for free.
