Hey Folks, seemed like a Butt day, so I thought I would share mine. Got this cutie courtesy of Truck Patch Farms, thought the marbleization was exceptional. In no hurry to get this done, sister is in town this weekend and is gonna stop by tonight around 9. I got up around 9:30, got her on around 11, and thought I would just let the egg dictate what temp it wanted to cook at - seemed to be pretty comfortable at 270. Rubbed it with 2 parts salt, and 1 part pepper, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, cumin and chipotle. I'll update again once I get the bark I'm looking for. My Rebs are off this weekend, so I needed to do something to remind me of home today - BBQ always seems to do the trick :wink:
