Q'ing for neighbors

Sunday afternoon I was grilling some eggplant when the neighbor across the street walked over and invited the wife and I to a, "welcome the new neighbors party," she is going to throw on Labor Day. I offered to Q up some pulled pork to which she was delilghted to agree. I'm going to have to smoke that butt this weekend though because on Sunday of L D weekend I'll be catering the Q dinner I donated for the school auction last spring.

Nothing like marking your territory early.

A couple of us in our neighborhood are thinking about doing a "block party" setup for Halloween. We'll do the meat and setup some tables and anyone that wants to participate can bring sides.

We'll then setup a group candy stop (we live on a cul-de-sac) for the neighborhood kids. One stop shopping for their sugar rush!!
