Been looking at a Fireboard FB2K Pro, which isn't available quite yet, however it will be soon. This version uses up to 3 thermocouple probes. I'm considering this as my MB560 is capable of getting up to 700* and TC probes can go 1000*+.
I'll be using the FB2K Pro to control temps in my MB. My other alternative is to get RTD probes from FB, for the FB2 Drive. They are rated at about 750* and are of the PT100 type.
I'm wondering if RTD probes are noticeably slower than TC type probes? I know they are supposed to be slower, but slow enough to make a difference for our purposes? Thanks for the help!
