• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Did some cooking last night and the rain started just after dinner was done. Because the coals were still hot I couldn't cover either the PBC or the Weber kettle.

So i finished my coffee and cleaned out the coal ash from both. I then grabbed my trusty can of Sprayway cleaner and sprayed them both down and polished them up to remove all the water marks. The Mrs sees me and had a fit.
Michael, it's only a grill. You cant clean the bathroom but you can detail a grill?

My reply, A man's gotta know his limitations!

Paint the toilet with black grill paint. Tell her is is so you will know how to clean it in the future.

Pretty funny. OTOH I always put the lid on and snuff out the fire to re-use coals....

Funny! But who wouldn't rather clean a grill over the bathroom...:becky:

Not sure it would help you, but I use heavy leather gloves and pull the coal basket out of my PBC and put it on the coal grate of my weber, close all vents on the weber and put the lid on to shut everything down. It usually has the fire completely cooled off in about an hour. The PBC cools off in about 15 minutes tonce the coal basket is removed. Sounds like you got caught in the rain though.....

My wife would have said the same thing. But, bathrooms don't produce mouth-watering ribs!

Tell her that you don't cook in the bathroom.Thats what I did.......Don't remember much after that. Lost my memory for a week.
