• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Post of the Day.........

Semper Fi to all my fellow Marines out there and Happy Veterans Day to all Vets. A small prayer from me goes out to all the active duty military that are still out there keeping us safe and defending this country. The price of freedom is not free and our military pays that price every single day.

Writing a Blank Check to your country payable up including your life shows, Character and Selflessness.
I"d like to thank the families & spouses of these brave individuals for their sacrifice and commitment it is a far tougher job that they do.
Before you sleep soundly in your bed at night have a thought for those rough men that go forth and do bad things to bad people.

Amen....one of my buddies is in Kuwait till end of the year. Somehow he's able to text me and I can text back. I send him BBQ pics every once in a while just to bust balls. He sends back pictures of camels......:biggrin1::biggrin1:

And yes....we have a very nice surprise party/cook planned for him when he gets back.....

Honestly, being deployed was somewhat easy compared to the family members who stayed at home. We just did the jobs that we were trained for, just in a different country. They however, had to deal with the uncertainty, agony, and unknowing on a day to day basis. To many veterans, they are the real heros. I wish there was a day to recognize their sacrifice, as my wife has been through more mentally from all my deployments than I want to know. In a way it saddens me to know how much she suffered so I can play with big green Army toys.

Much appreciation though, blu! Thanks to all our vets and their families!
