Plowboy
somebody shut me the fark up.
While making up some of my Pit Beans, the base ingredients were speaking to me. My Pit Beans have onion, bacon, red bell pepper, and maybe whatever else I feel like adding. Once the pork fat is rendered out of the bacon, the onion and red bell pepper is sauteed. This is my “bean base”.
The pot of bacon and sauteed veggies was looking so good, that I wanted it on a sandwich as is. Then it hit me that this mix with some pulled pork might be pretty good. Put the heat to a some pulled pork, added the mix along with some Spicy Apple from William’s Grilling Sauces.
Pork fat added to more pork fat… delicious.
This ran on my site today, but I didn't post the picture because it didn't turn out too well. Man, it was yummy!!
