• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Just bought some Plowboy's Rub for my 6 slabs of St Louis style ribs I'm smoking this weekend in the UDS. I always make my own rub. This is the 1st time I have tried any store bought rub. I'll let you know how it goes over on Sunday. Kind of like a taste test without the blindfolds.

Try it on your next batch of chicken ribs. You won't go back.

Seriously, it is great on spares and baby backs. I haven't tried it on chicken yet.

As good as it is on pork and chicken, I love it sprinkled on top of an omelet or even just plain eggs for that matter.

I also like Bovine Bold on spares!

Since you're doing six racks, you might consider doing half of them with a heavy coating and half with a medium coating and see which ya like best for next time.

Ha, ever since I bought my first shaker of Yardbird, I've been putting that stuff on everything from corn on the cob and popped corn to pork loins to hamburgers.

Hi, my name is Ted and I'm a Yardbirdaholic.:becky:

My 2.5y son calls yardbird "Tracto Seasning" and will eat anything it is on, especially eggs and broccoli!

I've got 5# on the way for that reason.
