Thanks Bobby B. and PhrankenSwine!!!

Today I got a little gift from my neighbour.
Don't know when I'm gonna start on it but I'll keep you guys updated.
Earlier I contacted a member of the Dutch forum if he still has a Smokey Joe...and he did!:becky:

That drum looks huge compared to the one I used with the Smokey Joe. However 60 liter is equivalent to the 16gal I used. Do you plan on using the top and the Bottom of the SJ or just going with the lid?

And her I was, thinking you were going to smoke the cat.

I Phorget to mention the Phirst pic had something in it Phor you!:becky:

Maybe it's because of the angle I shot the pic.
Diameter of the mini is about 14,5".
Don't know yet if I'm gonna use the bottom of the SJ as well.
I searched on Marktplaats (Ebay) today and saw this SJ ( http://link.marktplaats.nl/341827567 ) for 20$.
It's got a wooden handle!:becky:

That's a cute one Phu. I noticed on your yellow UDS you have latches on the bottom third. For ash removal I assume? Pharking brilliant!

It's a cute drum Phu... so is your cat! :-D

Thanks J.!
It's my neighbours cat,he's very young and is just exploring the outside world.
I babysitted him a couple of times when he was much smaller.

Here are some pics from the Smokey Joe I'm probably getting,I spoke to the owner yesterday and it's mine.:becky:
I just have to pick it up in Haarlem, probably sunday.

Hey phu, just my 2 cents but if you plan on going the muds-wsm approach like I did the lid may fit on the bottom. My drum tapered in a bit at the bottom. I cut the bottom off and bam there it was. The top slid right over the bottom of the smokey joe with a bit of help from a rubber mallet..

Thanks Peas!
The diameter of the bottom of the barrel is wider than the top...the top lip doesn't stand out like a normal drum, instead the lip is more inwards like a soda can.
Unfortunatly I didn't had "bam...there it was" moment...I was hoping for that.
I'll make the mini UDS without the bottomhalf of the SJ.

Very small update

Dennessey dropped by to cut out the top of thr mini drum...also to pic up his Phinished porkneck.
As you can see the barrel is "clean".:becky:
All I have to do is clean it with a degreaser I think.
