• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

This is probably more suited for Competition, but it is certainly Q related.

Anyone who competes against Phil from now on does not stand a chance.

I understand he received an annonymous gift that will give him a clear advantage over all other competitors.

Look out KCBS, Phil now is packing this:

i was afraid that was gonna say "Running a BBQ Forum for Dummies".

That's more brutal than the foil recipe cookbook some farker sent me.

LMAO

I "hear" that this is actually a big book of 200+ pages

Sounds good

Phil, you have a review?

yeah,

heres my review.

Bite me.
Lets discuss.

Hmmm...let's teach dummies how to play with fire. What a great concept for a book.

I've never read Grilling for Dummies, but when I started teaching myself to cook, Cooking for Dummies was invaluable to me. I learned a lot from it, and still open it up from time to time.

and by the way, Bigmista, teaching dummies how to play with fire might be a valuable aid to natural selection, which I think thsi world needs more of!

Especially out west. Forest Fire Mod

And I looked, I mean, I heard that the Grilling/Dummies book was actually packed with some pretty interesting recipes and tips.

One tip they left out, "Lit lump charcoal looks alot like unlit lump"

Still got a farking scar on my foot. I should go find that thread.

Nope, step on lit lump barefoot mod.

Ouch

Look on the brightside.....probably only happen the one time!!!!! If it does happen again, we can make millions on the new book "Going Barefoot for Dummies"

I was wearing sandals when I stepped unto a lit bit of lump. Didn't feel much, but I left a track of molten rubber all the way to my front door. Extra vent mod on my sandal.

So it's grilling for dummies. Is there a BBQ'ing from dummies book?

Grilling - high temp direct heat.
BBQ - low temp indirect heat

That's what I meant.
