I've just gotta ask - what kinda bike, road, mountain, hybrid...? I am assuming you mean a "real bike" as in bicycle and not a motorcycle.

Yes. Trek. I'm a subdivision guy now. Every year a road biker gets smashed by a drunk or an elderly driver. I've been bounced once grazed twice. I don't ride the interstate service roads anymore. Great fun at one time. I'm not breaking any land speed records but figure 1-2 hours a day beats nothing.

I ride a road bike as well and had a good friend that was killed be a teenager texting. I've never been hit but I have had a few very close calls ended up in a ditch once. I don't ride as much as I used to because of this and just lack of respect from drivers. Wish we had more bike trails here i try to get 18 to 20 miles in 3 days a week.
