• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

One other question (for now!)

Someone mentioned the door handle mod for the smokebox on the Bandera... is it the same for the BSKD? My latch SUUUUUUCKS! If so, can someone point me to the directions? I can't find it anywhere here.

Jeff, the 'dera comes with the latches on, washers welded on either side of the doors. You might consider having that done, this would be the best fix. To improve what you have, one of the handles to the hardware store (the True Value in P-Hill may have springs, if not the family center does). I think I used a heavy cone shaped spring. Get new cotterpins and a bit to drill for them if you don't have one that size, and fender washers to fit the shafts. Should all cost ~$5. If you have a couple small c-clamps they'll hold the works in place while you mark new cotterpin location. Remove, drill the new hole(Drill metal slowly, low speed on a cordless drill works great). Put the new works together. It'll help tons, stop by and have a look at mine if ya want before you take it on.

Scott, I think you PMed me your phone number once. I'll give you a ring the next time I'm in Harrisonville and try to stop by... Thanks!
