• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Hey - I know who cooked that chicken! They know how to cook chicken. Who are you to judge it harshly!?!??!!?!

Just getting you ready.

Congrats on the certification. Judging's a lot of fun.

it is great to have another brother ceritfied to judge. good work.

Ya know, it was really my first exposure to smoked chicken. Sorry, but if that was the norm...I'm sticking to grilling the chix. Was semi-slimy, slightly mushy, nasty skinned. Scott

Scott,

Congratulations! Not all smoked chicken is like that. If prepared properly it can actually be quite good.

Congrats on the CBJ... My wife and I took the class in January. One thing I learned was not to devour the chicken... there's a lot more meat still on the way! But the class was from 5-9 or so, and by 7, we were hungry!

Thighs are gross, they should be ground an made into chicken mcnuggets.

Scott, congrats on getting certified. Get "in the tent" at an event or three and have a great time!

Agree with Yak about the chicken. The only way I can see getting the chicken to look like that is to take the skin off smoke the chicken and put the skin back on! Nasty is not a strong enough word but I do not know what else to say.

Hi Charlie, did you get home ok? I hope I steered you correctly. Going to try some chicken as I fond that so disgusting I must be able to do better. Scott

PS, charlie and his friend were in the class with My wife and I . S

Scott Much better drive home. I think a little longer and about 30 minutes faster.

I have smoked chicken and know that stuff just wasn't right. NASTY
