• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Has anyone had any positive experience with an on-line butcher?

I am trying to locate a supplier of either button-ribs or riblets. None of our local grocery stores carry them (I know just about every grocery store in the mid-west has boxes of frozen ribelts or featherbones) and I would love to cook some up for a party that we are having in a few weeks.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've ordered some fancy stuff like steaks and a prime rib. Most on-line dealers are kinda spendy, and shipping costs are high. Try talking to your butcher or grocer about including a order for you in with their order, then you won't have to pay shipping. (Be sure to make some extra and take some in to him along with a couple of fatties, it never hurts). My neighborhood grocery carries these beef "chuck riblets" and they come in the Cryo packaging and are good. They only take about 4 hours or so to barbecue, much less time than the full beef racks.
