• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

We are looking at making the trip for the Big 12 Basketball Tournament. We will more than likely stay with friends in Moore, or someplace close. I lived there for a couple of years in the 70s but things have changed.

Best Italian, best mexican, and best Q in the OKC area? I know about Othello's in Norman, still good?

Talk to Arlin. He should know all that chit.

When you are in Norman you must remember........

The proper way to pronounce Oklahoma ...
(there's a pause between the A and the H)

Looks like a nice place to pause

You're coming up?? WOO-HOO!!!

Gimme some dates, times, etc. and we'll hook up! As far as food goes, I don't know that much about Moore & Norman, but I can hook you up with Italian, Q, and Mexican. The German out by me is a good change too, if you've got the hankerin'.

Othello's in Norman is closed. They moved to bricktown.

Mexican for me is Chelino's. The atmosphere is cheap but the food is good and cheap.

Italian for me is Zio's. Go to the one on Meridian because the one in bricktown charges for parking.

I don't eat BBQ out, since when I want it I can make my own. I can only tell you who I think does BBQ the right way because when I drive by I smell smoke.

The GFF grocery store on santa fe and 12th in moore has a pit (shed) in the parking lot and you can go inside and get BBQ to go.

There is a Rudy's in Norman on highway 9 east and chautauqua that I smell everyday on the way to work at OU.

My old boss who smokes himself likes to go to Big Belly's BBQ on I-77. I've never been there but he really likes it.

Welcome to the neighborhood! You will see lots of changes in Moore.

Let me correct myself. It was Othello's west that closed. The original one in Norman may still be there.

She is probably from Texas, most good things in OK are!

Thanks for the info guys.

Arlin, the dates look like March 9-11. I'll have a better idea what our schedule is once the brackets are set. Between the games, I went to Texas and she went to A&M, and obligations to our hosts I'm not sure how much time I'll have. I'll shoot you a PM when we have a handle on our schedule and obligations.
