• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Oh boy it's here

Don't need to be seasoned. Might burn a little wild for the first few cooks. Gotta get it "gunked" up first they say! I started seeing real stable cooks after my 3rd-4th cook.

Welcome and ongratulations ......that is one sweet smoker. Once I stopped using water in the water pan I really loved it. I even used it like a PBC. Will be waiting on pictures.

Congratulations and Welcome to the club.

i believe a fatty is traditional trial run/season fodder =) but im new to all this so take it with salt

I remember the excitement when I got my first smoker too! (Also a WSM). I am excited for you as well! Never been a big fan of chicken, but I picked a whole chicken split in half as my first cook with just SPOG because it was cheap and OMG I was hooked. Go forth and COOK!

Nice! Don't wait, fire that bad boy up. Worst case toss some bacon on it. Sprinkle some rub and extra brown sugar on the bacon. You'll be in heaven in an hour!

Waiting for the ads on Thursday see what's on sale for the maiden voyage
Figure I better start cheap while I figure it out

Your going to love it. Keep us posted on your first several cooks. Especially if the turn out a little less than ideal, as we might be able to provide insight on tricks and tweets to make the next one better.
