• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

OK, I've given up on trying out the new Radio Shack remote thermometer since I can't see to find one.
Everyone here seems to like the Nu-Temp 701, but when I go to the website they only have a 700 series. Any difference between the two units?

go to the link in our links section under "official stuff of the brethren" and find the Nu-temp link.

Navigate the nu-temp site to the "products" page, then "BBQ products".

The Nu-701 is also called "simple wireless thermometer". There is also the NU-806, which is a combo kit with the nu701 and the BBQ fork also.

The NU-700 is the temperature detective. Its no good, stay away from it. Its a pain to calibrate and only monitors one probe. Even they will tell you it doesnt work as well. Its 6 bucks cheaper, but what good is it if it dont work.

To go back to a post from a while ago. I had a long conversation with paul, the owner of Nutemp, lastr week. There was some chatter about nutemp being bought out by Weber. This was BS. They're stayin the Nutemp we all know and love.

We get deep discounts at NuTemp. Available to ACTIVE MEMBERS. Contact me at [email protected] to get details.
