• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

So here in northern MN/WI there are county bans on brush fires, camp fires, smoking outdoors, and now even using charcoal fired grills due to the "extreme" forrest fire danger. This sux its opening waleye season starting sat, and many of us will be heading to lakes camping and such, I have a 4 day trip planed to a lake where we had plans to smoke/grill every night, now the only option here is to use a gasser. Not Happy.

Well, I don't know how far South the ban comes, but I am cranking the Lang this weekend with a case of BB's.
I live in White Bear!!!!!!
The Lang is SO hot when she is a crankin' that they better bring a BIG fire hose to put her out.
PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!
Smoke On!!!!!

The MN DNR web site will tell you, its mostly the norther part of the state where the wild fire is burning up the 30 sq miles and still roaring right now. We will be within 50 mi of that fire this weekend, hopefully they get it slowed down or stopped soon.

That really does suck!!! I don't think they could ever do that down here. We are under a burn ban and over 100,000 acres are burning within 50 miles of us, but I don't think they would ever mess with our Qing.

Hold on a minute.....using a gasser is legal? If you have one of those single burner propane burners like for a turkey fryer, take a dutch oven and have a fish fry. I like walleye cakes too.

Cooking some waleye is the plan for at least one night. I don't know why using a gasser is ok but charcoal is not? I guess people dispose of hot coals in the woods and starts fires that way, just like anything else 1 moron can ruin it for a whole group.

We finally had our burn ban lifted down this way....now we are getting more rain than anybody cares for. Would send it your way if I could. We'll be glad we got this rain though come July....good luck.
