Time and cold here on LI have kept my Q to a minimum recently. My wife had her monthly pantry sale Sat and her visitors were a little dissapointed that I had no free Q avail this time. I decided I needed to Q something today but as usual, time, kids soccer and some odd and end errends prevented me from buying some kingsford. Now what? A nice rubbed london broil and some fatties and no heat. I gazed over at the 4 plus cords of hard wood on the patio for the wood stove used to help heat our home and it hit me like the wooden soilders hit Stan Laurel.:idea: I have the stove stoked... shovel out some of that there hot coal bed and fill up the fire box on my off set. Bam!!! we are Q'ing. Should be up around 4:45. Happy Smokin Bro's.

I spent a month using a pile of blown down hickory limbs I had piled up for fuel.
