Quite a forum ya all have going here and have enjoyed it. Thought I might as well hook up and get involved. My name is Hank and livin up here in N.W. Montana. I have been BBQ'n most of my adult life with different degrees of success. When I lived in town one Thanksgiving and was BBQ’n a turkey the guy next door asked me “what I was doing”, I told him “I was BBQ’n a turkey”. He said “but it is 5 deg. and 2 feet of snow”. I told him “the turkey doesn’t care!” People here think it is weird to BBQ in the winter with 2’ of snow and 5 below zero, but that’s OK… I still do it.
But it is time to teach an old dog new a trick. Gonna give smokin a try.
