Hey guys can yall give me a little input on grilling strips. What kinds of marinades and thing would be great.

What they said^^^^ No marinades, just seasoning. I use sea salt, black pepper and Garlic Powder. Sometimes I'll throw some Cavender's All Purpose Greek Seasoning on as well, but mainly just salt, pepper and garlic.

I'll also go with what they said - pull them out of the fridge 30-40 min before you plan on cooking (to warm them up) then hit with olive oil, salt, pepper

Boy am I glad to see you guys posting like you are. Don't screw up a good NY Strip with marinades or steak sauce. Salt and pepper them, throw on a really hot grill to sear them and take to medium rare.
Now you can saute' some sliced mushrooms in butter with a little steak sauce added to it if you want something to top them with.

Room Temp -- Olive Oil and seasoning of your choice. Coarse Salt and Pepper are great. Sometimes I'll had Red Pepper and or garlic to it. Depending on what I am wanting.

So, no one likes Montreal Steak Seasoning? I do.

I have actually used it a few times as well. Good seasoning. Also used Meat Magic, and Wild West Steak Rub. All good, all depends on your taste. My wife is getting mad with me because I expermint on her different things, last couple of times didnt work out to well. :tsk:
