• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Made the 950 mile round trip to Tuscaloosa on Saturday (long day....) to pick up the new cooker. Started raining when I arrived, and rained the entire way home (as well as for the next three days of and on). Finally got a chance to season it this afternoon, and am anxiously awaiting for my first cook on her this weekend. 24X70, Straight-back cabinet with 3 racks, insulated firebox with elevated/rotated warmer and extended stainless shelf.
I am very impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail on the cooker. This thing is seriously built like a tank. My boy T-Bone is standing on the fender without any concern on my part. The cooker ran even temps across the cooker during seasoning process without issue. Very pleased with the cooker. Would recommend to anyone.

Congrats on the new cooker! Definitely a beauty. Rain is a common theme on these trips. We had rain most of the way there, all the way back so bad we had to pull over a couple times. Then historic rains once we got it home. All worth it.

welcome to the Shirley Family and that is one sweet looking cooker . It rained the whole way down and back when I picked mine up too , I think it is a baptize thing from the old mighty one .
