Howdy,
My name is Jason, Grew up in Brownwood Texas, and now live in Wichita falls, Texas. Im 28 years old, and just got engaged. (Yay me!! i think?)
I came over from the yahoo outdoor cooking forum. Been BBQ'in for the last 3 years on my own Trailer pit, But have been cookin and Q'in pretty much since i was a little kid with my Dad. Im hoping to gain some knowledge along with alot of new friends here. I would like to try my hand at competition some time this summer at some local events. I currently have a trailer smoker that my step dad won in a raffle for a 5$ dollar ticket, We modified the trailer and got it road ready, Im planning on extending the trailer frame and adding a double propane burners to one side and hopefully a smaller pit for doing bugers and chicken on the other side. when i figure out how to post a custom avatar ill stick my pit up there. I think that about covers the basics. Good meeting all of you.
