I'm a few days late posting this but Junior has arrived!
Terri called me on Wednesday at noon - I was on the road by 6. Called my boss told him I was going to be out for the next 2 days and I'd see him on Monday.
Drove through the night 9 hours to get there and pulled into a Wafflehouse up the road from the shop and slept in the back seat of my truck.
Next morning I stopped at a store for some breath mints for me, donuts for Jay and Steve, and flowers for Terri.
My wife was a little nervous when I told her I was getting flowers for this strange woman. I told she had nothing to worry about.
After getting back I was so exhausted I crashed and slept through the night. Friday I had to run around getting supplies for Saturday's cook for my first catering customer. I was so glad to have the spicewine it had the capacity to cook everything with room to spare. I think I'm going to be cooking everyday from now until July to get the finer points down. But she's home. I'll be posting more pics in a little while. Thanks Jay, Steve, and Terri! I'm so freaking happy.
