has any one taken an old stove and made the bottem drawer an fire box and having the smoke come up in to the oven part as an smoker idea

xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Pyros did that with an old pizza oven. turned the bottom into a firebox... removed all the pizza stones and replaced with racks....
A stove would be ok, other than you would have to work to plumb it for good exhaust to get your smoke flowin.

I can visualize an old oven being used as a smoker. That would be a very genius idea. Use the broiler drawer for the coals. One of the burners is usually already vented to the oven, so you could put your smoke stack on there. I imagine you may have some leaks around the door, but I'm sure there would be a sure fire way to seal it up.
