• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I've just managed to lay my hands on one of these beasts!

Only $54 inc P&P, normally they are about $86+P&P.

Looking forward to pushing the boundries of Q'ing and see what she can do!! Hardcore!!!

Just right for when my other half and I attend the Big Chill end of next month! http://www.bigchill.net/story/1558/thebigchillfestival2006lineup.html

Wow that "Big Chill" looks like a fantastic event. Too bad it is too far from North Carolina.

is that the platinum rig? Was thinking of getting one to take camping for smaller loads. Also there is a WSM here for 190 bucks. Good Deal???

You gonna build a trailer for it?

Na, I was goig to invest in a V12 pickup and mount it on a custom leveling system in the back! That sould leave room for a ton or so of Charcoal and a custom Zippo enclosure.

I was just trying to work out the best way of fitting thermometers in it, to guarentee results I'll need to work out where the hotspots are!

I bought one for camping and like it just fine, but it is killer for finishing chicken that has been on the smoker.

I've owned several of these little beasts. I used to carry it and a chimney in the side box when I drove semi's.
I'd just set it beside the cab and grill steaks or chicken or whatever right there in the parking lot.
People would walk by and laugh as they were on their way in to eat some truck stop slop.
But they would always stop in mid stride, and go damn that smells good.
Hell I'd even do it in the middle of winter in the snow.

You should get with brdbbq and become a team.
He has a riding lawnmower that pulls a trailer with his WSM mounted to it.
You just have to plan an extra week for travel.

Sounds like a great idea.

As a joke to my friends (who think I'm mad for spending so much time and money smoking (which to them isn't BBQ  )) I decided to form my own one man team - Surf'n'Smoke BBQ Team. I've had a logo done, I just need to find somewhere afordable to knock me up some clothing!!!

A good friend of mine is a Brit that crossed the pond when he was 15. That phrase and his asking to borrow a rubber (an eraser) from the cutest girl in class are 2 of his 3 best stories of early culture shock coming over here.
The best one involves how much a 30" Graphix bong looks like a yard of ale and the worst drink he ever had.

Hey CT... www.cafepress.com You can upload your logo and put it on shirts, etc. any way you like. And then only order once if that's all you need. But Ibet all your friends would want one too!

Like "smoking a fag"

"toad in the hole" (which is quite good, actually).

But then there are some we should be envious of, too:

"Bollocks!"
"Bugger Off!"

Best one I ever heard was a Britt telling me that he got really "pissed" the night before.
I was asking him why he was pissed. He told me he just felt like it.
You felt like getting pissed?
Why would you WANT to get upset?
I wasn't upset.
But you just said you were pissed.
Yeah, I got pissed. But I wasn't upset.
How can you get pissed without being mad.
I wasn't mad, I was just drunk.
Being drunk and pissed at the same time isn't a good thing.
Being drunk and pissed is the same thing....

I got one of them little ones. I line in with foil and fill it with ice and a couple of beers. I love it when someone asks for a beer and I tell em to fetch out of the bbq pit.
