Hi everyone!
Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to the forum. I'm a software engineer in the Seattle area and love smoking up some great BBQ on the weekends. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest I didn't grow up around too much good BBQ. I started off grilling on a Weber Kettle but graduated to a Weber Smokey Mountain once I tried some truly great pulled pork and brisket and wanted to learn how to create such amazing meat myself. I've been smoking ribs, pork butt, and brisket pretty often over the last 5 years now on the WSM but I'm looking to move up to a horizontal offset and start learning to use a stick burner soon.
I'll probably be found asking questions about a few different horizontal offsets and trying to learn as much as I can from all of you experts out there over the next few months!
