• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Ran some errands with the wife. Stopped by Tuesday Mornings. I picked up this 10" Mundial slicer. I'll test it on the brisket about lunch time tomorrow.

Nice knife! My wife got me a carving set with a similar knife, and it is the best. Makes carving that brisket something to look forward to!

Ty, how'd it work on that brisket?

Nice blade.....btw.....how did you like the sauce I sent you?

I have one very similar that is made by Hinkle. I think it was designed to be a bread knife, at least that was what I bought it for but it is the best turkey and brisket slicer I ever owned.

I think its listed on the Henkel site as a slicer.

Doesnt mention "bread" specific.

Let us know what you think Ty

They are really good. I posted about them in my last mid-week cook post.

I ended up slicing the flat cold. The blade slid through like butter. Tried it on the sausage links also. Sliced through 3 at a time in no time. It about cut through the flimsy cutting mat I used. I'll post some pics later.

I have one like that i bought at the restuarant supply.I always take it to the competitions. They called it a slicer but i always thought it was a bread knife too.I like it and have even cut my ribs with it.
