• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I wandered in yesterday, following a link about cooking for a crowd. I'm 50-something and relatively new to smoking. I am preparing food for 150 people next weekend for my daughter's wedding. Planning to cook approximately 20 lbs of brisket and 60 lbs of pork butts. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Steve,
Welcome and enjoy your time here. Make sure to check out the section dealing with catering, a lot of great info there about cooking for a crowd.
Try to get yourself a helper so that you can enjoy your daughters big day!!

Thank you. I've got myself a helper for the final push. Cooking on the WSM'S is pretty idiot proof once all the prep is done, IMHO. I had to pick up a second one for this event.

Welocme to the asylum!

Finally, please review our rules! They are pretty straight forward, but looking at them up front may help to eliminate problems later :-D
