I was at the Lone Star Grillz shop and show room this morning to get one of the Tel-Tru thermometers that can be calibrated and is supposed to be an "industrial" version. It is called GT300R.
Chris is now a BGE dealer (full line) and indicated to me that he sells them well below list price and can and will beat any competition. So, if you are thinking about a BGE, you might want to check LSG out. I have both a large BGE and the MiniMax. Love them. I use these when grilling and not smoking briskets, etc on my LSG vertical offset.
By the way, the new thermometer was EXACTLY 212* right out of the box.
