walla...
I'm thinking on buying the small Blackstone tabletop grill to take in my RV. I don't want to use the 1# bottles so wondering if anyone knows for sure what size and gender the fitting on the grill is that the bottle adapter screws onto. I want to use my regulated RV propane system and or a regulator hose setup for a 5 gallon tank. I've tried to find out from the company but they don't seem to want to share the info with me! I don't want to buy one if I cant do the hookups I want!
Thanks

Would this work for the 20lb tank ?

I know it's weber but it works on my weber and my buddies coleman. I think its all the same. I know i have the parts to convert my weber q to run off of my camper but i read somewhere that the regulated gas pressure isn't the same on the camper as it is on the grill. Most people recommend taking the hose i linked and cutting off the part that screws onto the tank and putting on a quick disconnect to match the trailer. This way you could still use the regulator on the grill.

I have the blackstone 17 in and use the weber adaptor listed above without any issues. It is a great little griddle but will burn through the the small 1lb tanks if you run it on high. I also purchased on of the adapters that allows you to refill the small 1lb tanks from a 20lb tank off of Amazon. It works well and is nice for the times that I want be more portable.

I believe this is what you're looking for. This regulator is specifically designed to replace the one on the grill, and account for the pressure difference in the two systems.

Oh yeah, plus it has the quick connect fitting already on it, made for RV's.

Matt The problem is I don't own the grill yet so I don't know what fitting I would need to hook up to the blackstone grill. I do run several propane grills and other propane items off my regulated rv supply and never have had an issue
Thanks

I have an adapter to fill the 1# bottles also... I just don't want to fool with the bottles and carry them around. I want to hook into my regulated quick disconnect on my rv and run the grill but I don't have the grill yet and I don't know what fitting I need to hook up the blackstone instead of hooking the bottle adapter to the grill. I have several hoses with the quick disconnect RV fitting on one end and several different female fittings on the other end as needed for different equipment. I also have a hose that fits the 5 gallon tanks with various fittings and regulators. So just wanting to know what fitting is on the blackstone grill itself, that I have to hook to.
Thanks

Do you have a Blackstone tabletop and sure it will work with it? I see it has an orifice fitting on it but I read a lot of the questions on amazon and it didn't fit some of the smaller grills.
Thanks

After rereading your post I think I misunderstood you. I think you're saying the fitting on this replaces the 1# bottle and you regulate with the bottle regulator. one problem I've run into is putting 2 regulators in line, one on the RV system and one on the blackstone. That usually doesn't work. but the hose as is would work with the larger propane 5 gal bottles that wouldn't be regulated and use the small bottle grill OEM regulator. That's why I wanted to not use the supplied 1# bottle adapter regulator But if a orifice is required to run this grill that might be a hard fitting to find. that's why I was hoping to find someone who has the grill and see what they did. Or, maybe the orifice is contained in the RV regulator system. I know I run other grills with my RV system without orifices. with standard 1/4 or 3/8 usually female gas fittings to hook up the grill.
Thanks

thanks for your info. I guess you have the grill, So I now I know the hose will work with the grill 1# adapter in place of the 1#bottles... So now I'd like to find out if anyone has directly hooked up the grill to the RV regulated system and what fitting to use. Would you by any chance know what fitting I would need to hook directly to the grill in place of the bottle adapter that comes with it?
Thanks

Thanks for the input. I think I'll wait until I can see one up close. I really don't want one that I can't use with my RV quick connect system.
Thanks again!
