i cooked some nature well ribeyes today. they turned out fantastic, although i'm convinced that it's not possible to get a picture of a cooked ribeye that looks very good....

I agree with you there. The tastier they are the harder it is for me to hold the camera steady. I also find that saliva on the lens causes distortion. Those look great! :thumb:

I like the beef from NatureWell, they provide a good tasting product. Two of those steaks look like they are all deckle meat, I really love the fatty deckle part.

Yes sir, Ya can't beat a Ribeye Cept maybe a nice filet, there just to damn expensive,, and you took some good pics, next time take a pic of one cut in half with a sideview....:thumb:

Those look great! I love a good ribeye, but lately I've been going to the Flat Iron steaks from Kroger. Just as much flavor and tenderness and much less expensive.

we don't have a kroger anymore, but i'll have to look for a flat iron steak. is that the actual name of the cut i should look for.

Yep, flat iron is a cut and very good. A hot and fast sear to medium rare and sliced against the grain...bliss.
I agree on the ribeye photography especially if using a flash. I tried to get a good shot of the rareness of some steaks my wife cooked last night but could not hold the camera steady enough without the flash, which washed out all the pretty colors. Guess I need a tripod!

Given that, I'd definitely hit those!:thumb:
