• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I also did 3 batches of jelly. 2 Pineapple Hab, 1 strawberry jalepeno. never made the strawberry before. didnt jell the way i wanted to but it was tasty. it needed a little more heat. took the veins out which i probably shouldt have, it was nice and sweet withjust a little bite.

Motley, looks great, you were a busy person this weekend!
If you don't mind, post your notes on the turkey cook, theres a lot of interested people!:-P hint-hint... Did the bird take up a lot of smoke in the short time?

Cool pron Brother. You didn't make your friend beg for too long did you.

not too much to say bout the bird. i did leave it "flat" the whole time, no flipping. didnt get as much smoke as i would have liked. next time i will have more chunks but all in all it was tasty.

How are you liking the way the Red Drum is Cooking? Is your air flow management good with the vertical intakes?

yeah i pretty much leave 1 intake all open and the other completely closed. I am having a hard time deciding if i like my red or blue better. for some reason i think blue runs a little smoother but not really sold on it. one thing for sure the lid is a hell of a lot lighter without the 2" pipe on it.

both are great though. Red has the ability for a second grate on it so next time i do rib tips i may bust out the top rack for abts etc
