Been offline for a few days, spent about a week rebuilding my patio area. The old patio was done about 12 years ago and when I did it, it was just thrown together. I had about a 1" grade, that was to much and the timber had rotted away. Really wanted to place new stone but money is tight so had to reuse the existing ones. Patched the old concrete that was damaged and hope when it cures is will match a little better. What a job by myself! It is always easier to build from scratch than to R&R and rebuild.

Used about 1600 lbs of sand (60lb bags at a time) Seems things are a lot heavier than they were 10 years ago! I need to get a job, this unemployed stuff is to much work.

Just wanted to show it off. BTW, Egg was getting ready for some Tri-Tip.

Nice job MS. If I don't get a job by the end of the summer I'll be going through the mountain of old street pavers the city dept. of public works sells for .25 ea. My neighbor across the street repaved his driveway with them last year and it took him the whole summer to find about 800 decent ones. Lots of hard work but it sure does look good when your done.

beautiful backyard! It inspires me to do something like that in my yard too. I'm building a deck just to get my UDS off the ground, I'll have to post some pics too. Never thought of posting pictures other than food pron.
