Yes, it's a grilling machine. I have seen the guy with the big mustache on one of the food channels cook some amazing meat on one.

EDIT: His name is Billy Ruiz of Cowboy Flavor.

Looks very cool. I've seen folks cooking on this type of grill out in CA. How much (very roughly) does a grill like that cost?

Those are great! Tri-tip Santa Maria Style. I think its oak that is the "authentic" wood for this purpose. They have an enormous one up in Oak Glen that they use apple wood (from their orchards) in.

Congrats on the purchase!

Looks like a good backyard-sized Santa Maria style grill. Nice!

Those are excellent grills for doing Tri-tip and Asada for the price. You should get years of excellent tri-tip off that thing. Nice new toy.

I can just picture the red oak burning into embers now... making a little sausage treat for the cooks in the process....

great heat control with the crank, and I like the cutting board sidecars!

Maybe if I sell the char-griller wifey will let me get one....

Hey Grillfella, Nice Santa Maria:thumb:
Do they have them on display in Montebello or do they just fill orders from a catalog?
