• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

My neighbors asked me to stay home this weekend... to cook.

The three big tri-tips were wiped out in 20 minutes. Heck half of it was gone as I was cutting it. The 8 chickens? Half was eaten at dinner, brought back out about midnight, wiped out. The sausages lasted all of ten minutes, maybe.

The rub is based on a KC rub from Weber, but I didn't have enough. Added some pepper, garlic, paprika and cayennne, oh, and brown sugar. Been on about 3 hours now, amazing tasting scraps. Took them off to cut up for the baked beans, yeah... only about half made it into the baked beans. You should see people walking by, stopping in wanting to see what smells so good!!! Meeting neighbors I never new lived here!! Funny.

I didn't know if the spares would be enough for everyone, so I added the baby-backs. Not feeling like doing the 3-2-1 method, just dunking in apple juice. Do you think that will be a problem???
 
Would have to sell my GF to buy all of that meat at once!

Once my ribs are on I don't do squat to them. No mop, no foil, no nothing. Just let them cook.

You can do whatever you want to do though. That is the beauty of Q.

Just shipped out another load of meat and beans. Now I have two brisket...:shock:FLATS???:shock: on the cooker.:shock: What the heck is this thing????

Can't wait to see it! Ribs are nothing to be afraid of. Easy. Fed over 25 people tonight. Good weekend so far.
