• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Above is the link to the last post but didn't think it needs resurrecting. But if interested it is there.

The brisket and ham behaved as expected. Brisket was my first attempt. The butt took off for the races and I pulled wrapped about 5 degrees below temp and threw it in the cooler to let the others catch up.

The ladies doing the batch cooking finally stopped to eat and the were moaning with pleasure on the first bite. (Sammie's chopped brisket and pork butt half and half) I thought they were being nice but I ate it and was doing the same thing.

I cut the ham for a recipe and it cut like butter. Melted in your mouth almost.

Brisket didn't pass the bend test but I am super proud of this cook.
