• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Good luck! Keep us posted of the progress.

Alright!! Hey don't throw that lid ring away. They are great for securing the lid when hauling the cooker around. Because they are so easy to run and practically indestructible my drum is the first cooker I have loaned out and never worried about.

where did you get the drum? Do you know what was originally in it?

ouch I found a woman on CL who has some that had non toxic soaps in a liner in hers. I figure a good brun out and away i go. oh yeah $10 each

Thanks for the company name. I am personally scared to use one that I am not sure what was inside. I was looking for somewhere to buy a new one. I think my health is a little more impotant not to mention those I might cook for. I see on their site that there are like 13 locations all around the US. Here is the link http://www.iconserv.com/index.html

I found some in DFW area they contained vegetable oil. $5 a piece. Working on building a couple drum smokers at this time.

Pyle,

Where are you getting your brand new ones?

B

Blutch you had sent me some PM about these barrells I speak of. I just wanted you to know, they look brand new and the lid will come off in about 30 minutes with a $9.99 grinder from Chinafreight. We took two of the lids off last weekend in just over an hour and I am sure that now we could even do it faster. Myself or DeeZ will get some pictures posted soon showing the progress and the procedure we used.

Ah.. I didn't know those barrels you spoke of were brand new. I've been looking for a source here in Oklahoma City, but am coming up blank.

I've never seen a brand new barrel....I like it!

Well let me know if you want a few, I can pick them up and the next time you roll through DFW you can stop by and take them off of my hands.

I use the lock ring to help center Weber lid on drum. I put it on drum lip and screw the bolt in until it centers itself and lid fits inside of ring. Works good.
