• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Does anyone know where I can find Morton® Tender Quick in the DFW area? I Have tried a bunch of stores (Market street, albertsons, Kroger, and Bass pro shop, wally world) with no luck. I can order it on line, just seems like somebody would carry it here. Any suggestions?

I’m dry curing a brisket flat for pastrami. It was on a thread a week ago wanted to give it a try.

Morton Tender Quick has its uses in slow & low BBQ. At least I think so.

GrumpyQ,

The Krogers at Beach and Western Center has it

I'll go by there this evening and pick up a bag. I tried every store up and down 26. Thanks!

Mark, please elaborate. Other than artifically induced smoke ring, I'm not familar with any Q uses of TQ. I thought it was a curing product?
