Lots of tales being told around the smokers.

Toast is guarding a bag of Charcoal from his LSU chair.

The chicken is being basted.

And the finished product, which was yummy.

The pork butt is at 160, and the ABTs are ready to come off.

The ABTs are out and getting devoured.

While Ag76 was waiting on that butt to finish, I heard him singing, "I'm too sexy for my shirt, too sexy for my shirt..."

The Boomshakalaka was smoking away. I'm not sure what was in there, but money was on an aardvark.

Okie and Toast tell Ag76 everything he is doing wrong with his butt. Ag76 started singing again.

I'm telling you, I saw Okie crawling under the trailer, trying to get to my wood. I mean come on, what kind of Brethren lock up their wood where another Brethren can't help themselves?

pjtexas1 is taking a hit off of the Cabo bottle, right after me, poor soul.

Unfortunately we had to leave before the main event -- no dog sitter, and we have three big mutts. But we enjoyed pig shooters, rum shooters, brisket chili, chicken, baked beans, and pasta salad. Thanks to Hotch for honchoing this event.

If people didn't have a good time, they aren't going to be happy anywhere. It was nice to put some faces to some names. Gracious folks I'm here to say. I tried to pitch in for the pavilion rental, but Hotch was having nothing to do with it.

Yeah, we had some gray skies today, but on the positive side, we had no rain. Wet and outdoor events are not usually mutually acceptable.

Melissa i agree there are a lot of good spots in NJ to host an event. We should try to come up with a date as a collective and i can Scout out some locations.
