Had about 15 people over for dinner, and we grilled pizzas. I'm getting better at this, and everyone seems to like them. If anyone has tips or suggestions, I'm listening!

Thanks guys, and hi there neighbor. Picked up some fire bricks recently, and they have really worked well for the pizzas. Later last night after most people had left I took some leftover dough, added some more herbs, some garlic and some Kalamata olives and baked a pretty good foccacia bread on the bricks. It came out pretty good!

You got it Al, come on over! If that doesn't work out, I have a good friend who lives in O'Fallon. Next time I'm there, I'll drop by your place ;-)

The bricks are just firebrick splits, I would guess you can get them at any masonry supply place. I got them from a place in Sherrodsville that sells surplus bricks and block and such. I was there buying some block to build a wall around the garden and almost as an afterthought I asked if he had any firebrick. "Yup, how 'bout 50 cents apiece"? So far it seems like a great $6 investment!

Sending the delivery guy right now Al...turn on the porch light.
