When mixing wood pellets on an FEC (I am going to use a mixture of apple and hickory) is it as simple as just dumping both kinds of pellets into the hopper? Or do you add one flavor of wood - let those get used - then add another flavor by itself on top of the first batch of pellets?

Thanks guys and gals!!

There's no requirement to mix. But as Thom said, some guys like to stagger flavors for various reasons. If I'm using Hickory and Apple, I mix them together in the hopper. No problem.

KISS

I know many a successful FEC users only using hickory. FE advocates it as well. I am the idiot that farks it all up by using a different flavor in my old FE.....
