• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

All I can say is wow. I was walking through Safeway today and spied this beauty nestled amongst all the Choice tritip. It was labelled (and priced) as Choice!

Craziness!

Wow, that is a fantastic tri-tip. Of course, it could be from a Choice grade carcass, but, it is gonna eat like Prime.

Why did you cut it like that?

Good find, I'm with landarc why you cut it that way?

Total CRAP!!!

Send it here and I will dispose of properly!!!

I was dying to see what the insides looked like lol....actually I'm trying two different rubs and splitting it up into two meals

Wow that's awesome. How much a pound? Hopefully you picked up more than one.

K...this half was rubbed with Oakridge Santa Maria, smoked to 120, and then grilled for 2 minutes on each side. Rested for 10 minutes and sliced.

Every now and then you will find a prize tri-tip like that. When I see them I grab them because there is nothing better. All of the ones that I have found like yours were also choice grade and seemed to be on the small to med size but sooooo good. :clap2:

Beautiful all around! That looks just about wagyu-ish.

I think you planted a subliminal message into my head. I just ordered a wagyu tri-tip along with a brisket point.
