Good question asked ion the competition area, but i kinda feel like that's the competitors' area, sooo.....
To expand on this question...
I've never been to a comp, either. The Missus managed to get the day off, I ordsered my self a couple of Brethren shirts, and we lova a good Road Trip.
So, what's in it for us spectators. I know I would enjoy meeting and/or seeing some of y'all in action, but what to do about The Missus?? Is there any Vending or other activities for those of us just hoping to make it to competition level some day??
Or should I plan a day at the Spam museum?
I have never been to a BBQ comp before so a friend and I are driving down to Austin this upcoming weekend to check it out. I am pretty excited. I was thinking of getting there around 10am. What should I expect? I have heard that some comps let the teams vend the extra food afterward but other comps dont. Does MN in May sell food anywhere at the contest?
